Texas Mini Aussie Rescue has a constant need for volunteers in a variety of areas. If you are unable to foster, or give a monetary donation, below are some ways where time and expertise are the donation. Transport

Assistance in transporting our fury friends, especially during the day and during regular business hours is a great way to donate your time. All of our rescues must be fully vetted before adoption. Therefore, we need folks who can take our dogs to and from veterinarian appointments located in Garland, Frisco, Allen, Mesquite, Colleyville and their foster home(s).
We also often take dogs from shelters that are not close to the foster home who is going to receive the dog. If someone is willing to drive a couple of hours to meet a transport coming in from Austin, Houston, Abilene, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, West Texas, the Panhandle, Louisiana and Oklahoma that is a huge help and allows the foster homes to be at work home with their family get some errands done. If you have availability during normal business hours, this is a perfect way to volunteer and greatly helps out our foster families. |

Obedience TrainingBasic obedience training greatly enhances a dogs ability be adopted. We only endorse positive training methods, so clicker, bridge and target types of training methods so if you are experienced in those areas, this is a great volunteer opportunity.
